STUDIO TWO 4 - Healthcare interior design firm

We are all about design….

DESIGN APPROACH

We provide healthcare deign with a hospitality focus.

DRAFT IT

Next, you’ll select an architectural and engineering team. We’ll send some references your way if you need assistance! From here, we’ll work with your hired architect and provide our detailed design development package that will give them everything they need for construction drawings.

BUILD IT

The last and best part - bring your project to life! We work along side your hired contractor to ensure the design intent is met all the way to final install. We’ll help you purchase and install furniture and visit on site to oversee progress and completion.

PLAN IT

Space programming and planning your project is the first step. This is where we’ll layout your space and maximize it with your program. We then work with the authority having jurisdiction to confirm planning and code compliance.

DESIGN it

With programming and planning complete, we begin the fun phase of the project. You will be sent a questionnaire to help define the character and brand of your practice.  This will result in the selection of materials, colors, light fixtures, and accessories. 3D imagery will be developed to help visualize your space and will allow us to better define your design intent.

FAQs

HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT TAKE A PROJECT FROM START TO FINISH?

It depends on the size of your project. Expect about 3-6 months for design time, 8-12 weeks for permit and anywhere from 6 months to 2 years to build out. We don’t rush the design process, so when you’re ready to start, reach out!

How much does construction cost?

It completely depends on the size of your project, the design of your project, and the location of your project. Todays construction costs are at an all time high. Expect to spend a minimum of $300/sf for a remodel and more depending on the complexity of your project. Working with a contractor will help you better understand your costs.

Are your drawings enough to get permits to build out my project?

No. We provide Design Development drawings. Our focus is on design only for a reason. The details in your space matter to the finished project, how your space functions, how your staff works, how your patients feel. Our job is to provide detailed drawings for design intent that your architecture and engineering teams can build permitted drawings from. We work with them along the way until construction completion to ensure all design details are met

Do you work outside of california?

Yes! Because we offer design only services and are based in California, we design to the highest of code compliant standards. We hire a contract architect for the start of every job to do feasibility studies, connect with the city and get your project started out on the right foot prior to design. We can also work with your existing architect and provide design upgrades to their plans if you feel like you’re looking for something a little more than what they’re offering.

Why hospitality healthcare?

Because healthcare is a service. No matter the service you provide, your patients should feel comfortable and calm. The overall aesthetic of your space also has a huge impact on your profitability. It allows you to create branded moments for sharing, increase revenue from retail components, and create an inviting atmosphere for better customer service. A beautiful space is a better space.

How does the design process work?

We recommend starting your project with a feasibility study to find out how much you’ll spend, how much space you need, and estimate your design and construction timelines. You can check out our services tab for more info on the full design process. We can provide design direction on already drawn plans, full design service for a new project, and even help with install and on-site visits.
